Day 01. and transfer to Hotel. Complete day for the acclimatization which is 3500 Mts above sea level. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02 : Matho and Stakna and Stok monasteries visit monasteries by walk from parking and walk around villages. Overnight Leh.
Day 03 : Walk around Leh visit Shangkar monastery 3 km from Leh and Shanti Stupa 2 km and Tsemo gompa 500 meters ascent from the Leh market. Overnight Leh.
Day 04 : Leh to Spituk, Phyang and Alchi monasteries sightseeing by jeep, 110 km,
Day 05 : Leh- Rumtse (2 hrs drive + 3 hrs sightseeing Visit Shey , Thiksay and Hemis monasteries en route, evening camp at Rumtse village..
Day 06 : Rumtse - Kyamar 4050 m (3/4 hrs) we have a short walk on a rather flat terrain to aid acclimatization. We will camp overnight at lush Kyamar, near a spring.
Day 07: Kyamar- Tisaling 4200 m (6-7 hrs)
We should be fully energized today with proper breakfast for a challenging day ahead. We begin with gradual ascent towards our first pass of Kumur La (4800 m), which gives a spectacular view of the Changthang range with its colorful rife of mountain. After the pass, we steadily descend towards the base of the next pass. Here we might come across nomads with their herds of sheep, goats and yaks. After a short rest, we set out for Mandalchan La (4850 m). From this pass it's an easy descend to the camping site at the pastureland of Tisaling.
Day 08 : Tisaling - Ponganabu 4250 m (6 hrs)
By now, we are well acclimatized to conquer our third pass, the Shibuk La (4900 m), and about 2-hour journey. From the top of the pass, we have an incredible view of the surrounding mountains and of our next destination, Tsokar Lake. With a breathtaking view to ease our exhaustion, we head down towards the valley accompanied by the shrill whistles of the shy and active marmots, which is characteristic of this harsh region. It's approximately a 4 hrs walk to the Tsokar basin, and our camp for the night will be the windy Pongunabu.
Day 09. Tsokar to Zara 4390 meters, alt, trek 4 to 5 hrs. Today you walk on flat terrain for 4/ 5hrs . After the walk of one hour you cross the Leh Manali road and proceed towards Zara . Camp at Zara .
Day 10 : Zara to Lungmochey 4500 meters , trek 5 hrs. Today you are passing through Kharnak village another nomade village after Tsokar . Terrain is fairly flat . Camp at Lungmochey.
Day 11 : Lungmochey to Dat 5 hrs: Today you are passing through the pass of Yar la, of 4950 meters of altitude. So terrain ascent form the Lungmochey and descent from pass terrain is fairly flat. Camp at Zara
Day 12: Dat to Tsokra 4100 meters, 6hrs trek today you passing through beautiful gorge and there is no climbing after few hours of trek bring you to Tsokra. Camp at Tsokra.
Day13: Tsokra to Yaripulu 4600 meters, 6/7 hrs. Today you are passing through Zalungkarpo la, 4970 meters. Descent from the pass and walk towards Yaripulu Camp at Yaripullu.
Day 14: Yaripulu to Base camp Kangyatse 5200 meters, 6hrs. Today you passing through 2 passes and you can see fabulous view from the top of the passes. Asecent towards Nimaling on your right after 2 hrs walk reach Nimaling. Camp at Nimaling.
Day 15 : Nimaling (4700m):- Approx. 3-4hrs from Thachungtse, the trail climbs steeply to the plateau and pastures of Nimaling with impressive views of Kangyassey peak. Overnigth Camp.
Day 16 :Chogdo:- Begin a gradual climb of about 2 hrs to the top of Kongmarula (5030m), the highest point on the trek with excellent views of the Stok range and the Karakoram range of mountains. Descend to the wooded gorge to camp at Chogdo. 4/5 hrs walk, Overnight Camp.
Day 17 Shangphu:- Follow the Shang Tokpo (stream). 2 hrs trek and then drive up to Leh by jeep, Leh Hotel.
Day-18 : / Rest Day, optional Shoping, Walk around Leh market
Day-19 : 21 Leh delhi.
