Kanji Karsha Phuktal Trek

Day 01: Delhi-Leh
Meeting and assistance on arrival at Leh Airport and transfer to Hotel. Rest of the day free for acclimatization.

Day 02: Leh
Acclimatization / introductory tour of Shey, Thiksey and Hemis monasteries. Overnight hotel at Leh

Day 03 : Leh – Kanji via  Lamayuru kanji.
Drive of 5 to 6 hrs to Kanji Village , Visit Lamayuru monastery on the way. Camp at Kanji village.

Day 04 : Kanji -  Shila Kung (via Yokmala 4850-m) trek 6/7 hrs.
Ascent from Kanji village towards Pass of Yokmala we can see beautiful mountains from the pass then descent towards Shilakung through a gorge. Camp at Shila kung.

Day 05 : Shilakung – Spanchen ( via Snigutse la 5100 m,) trek 5/6 hrs.
Gradually Ascent towards Snigutse la  nice view from the top of the pass. One hours descent towards Spanchen , Camp at Spanchen.

Day 06 : Spanchen – Photoksar (via SirSir- la 4965m, ) 5/6 hrs.
Walk along with river towards the pass of Sirsir la . From the top we can see the View of Singe – La Pass. Camp at Photoksar.

Day 07: Photoksar- Singe la Base.
Gradual  climb towards base of Singe la 3 to 4 hrs walk. Camp at base.

Day 08 : Base  - Skumpata.
Gradual climb up to the Singila 4900 Mts. A long day descends towards village Skumpata. Trek the high trail and cross over to Kubala. . Cross the river and camp near Skumpata village Trek times 07 Hrs. 

Day 09: Skumpata-Lingshet
Again ascend to Netuskila (3800 Mts.) and descend westwards to Lingshet. This is a religious and cultural centre of the area. The Gompa has 60 Lamas. Camp at Lingshet. Trek times 05 Hrs. 

Day 10: Lingshet- Snetse
Trek up to the base of Hanumil, which is a fairly easy trek. Later steeps ascend to Hanuma La pass (4700 Mts.) After the pass, descend through a wild valley with glacial now and water. Camp at Snetse. Trek times 07 Hrs 

Day 11: Snetse-Hanumil
Trek along the spur, make a steep descend and cross the Zingchen Tokpo. Ascend once again to reach the Parifila and descend to the level of Zanskar river and rocky track leads to Hanumil village. Camp before the village. Trek times 05 Hrs. 

Day 12: Hanumil-Pishu
The trail runs up the stream along the left bank of Zanskar River and leads to Pishu. Camp at Pishu. Trek times 06 Hrs. 

Day 13: Pishu-Karsha.
Trek to Karsha is easy as it is on flat terrian as there is no passes overnight camp at Karsha. Trek times 06 Hrs.

Day 14: Karsha to Pipula Jeep trek to Purne,
Take jeep to Pipula 01,hrs drive then trek to Purne 4/5 hrs, Overnight Local Home Stay.

Day 15: Purne – Puktal – Purne,
Trek to Phutak monastery one of most beautiful monastery in Ladakh , after the visit trek back to Purne village. Trek times 06 Hrs. Local Home stay Purne,

Day 16: Purne to Pipula trek then jeep drive back to Padum or Phey village .
Trek to Pipula then jeep take you to Phey village , Overnight in Local home.

Day 17 ; Phey  – Mulbek,  jeep 8/9 hrs.

Day 18 ; Mulbek – Leh..  jeep.

Day 19 ; Leh - Delhi

SSleeping bag, torch, Sun cream, Cap, Sunglass. Warm clothes and trekking shoes. Medicines for Cold, Altitude, Diarrhea and water purification pill..
